BURNERS
A gas barbecue with a charcoal soul.
Direct radiant heat of up to 1650 °F (900 °C) for hot searing over the roasting burner or 167 to 930 °F (75 - 500 °C) with a choice of direct or indirect heat on the large grilling surface - with the three infrared burners of Model D, the cooking possibilities are virtually endless.
THE DIFFERENCE FROM NORMAL GAS BARBECUES
The gas flows through thousands of small openings, is ignited and causes the ceramic plates of the burners to glow.
The two main burners are mounted laterally beneath the cast stainless steel grates and irradiate them evenly with intense heat. Thus we achieve the effect of a charcoal grill and cook not with flames but with the radiant heat of the glowing plates. Sounds extraordinary? It is, and its also highly efficient. All burners can be infinitely adjusted and thus perfectly dosed.
